Help Us Help Them

Today, hundreds of thousands of transgender Americans live in fear and uncertainty. Because of the generosity of our friends and supporters, we are able to help an average of 300 people per day navigate the process of social, legal, and medical transition through MyTransitionPartner.com.

We have had an exciting first quarter! Our incorporation papers have been approved by the State of North Dakota, we’ve submitted paperwork with the IRS to become formally recognized as a charitable organization, and our excellent new board has had its first meeting. Because of support from people like you, we’ve been able to accomplish much in our first quarter.

As we enter the second quarter, our goal is to raise enough money to be able to offer five $150 transition grants to transgender North Dakotans, starting in the third quarter. Most transgender people face financial barriers in their transition, and the first obstacle is often the cost of changing names and updating identification documents. This grant will allow them to file a petition with their local court to change their name and will cover the cost of replacing their North Dakota driver’s license. For such a small cost, as a community of loved ones and allies, we can help to give some of our society’s most ignored and vilified citizens clear a major hurdle in their journey to becoming a better version of themselves. Will you join us, and hundreds of our supporters, in our goal of raising $750 by June?

As our gift to you, for a donation of $10 or more, you will continue to receive Pathways.

We hope that you will take a moment to explore the invaluable resource we have worked hard over the past three years to create and to share it with your friends and family.

All the best,
